Pretty valleys spread with a patchwork of little fields dotted with walnut trees
Imlil is the start to climb the Jebel Toubkal (4167 m above sea level), North Africa’s
highest peak. Imlil is a small berber village situated at 1740 m. above sea level. The secret of it’s beauty resides in the surrounding landscape which is perfectly matched by the nature loving atmosphere of the valley and it’s people.
Imlil offers a variety of activities such as:
- Mountain trekking ( physically demanding)
- 2 to 3 hours walk
- Mule ride
Itinerary:
09:00departure from Marrakesh, towards Tahanout ( about 1000 m )( berber market on Tuesdays), Asni (1100 m ) (Berber market on Saturdays)
From Asni turn left to Imlil about 16 kms.
Lunch in Imlil.
On option: Walk or mule ride.
